I’m so tired of watching my family and friends become statisics…I’m so tired of cutting on the news and hearing about young men being murdered! KILLED! in the prime of their lives…tired of fatherless children..tired of mourning mother…
It’s just really becoming ridiculous!!

Does anyone have any respect for human life any more?
I’m the type of person If I could save my neice from every possible disappointment in life- I would. But, I know that I can’t. Yet, I hate to see her hurting because of careless people with no remorse and no respect for life. She got word that her Uncle was killed Monday, March 31, 2008. On the corner, just outside his home. He was sitting in a car when someone came up the the car and shot him several time. And the worst part- he wasn’t even the person they were looking for!!!!!! He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It hurts me to know that someone who I watched grow from a boy to a man- was gunned down for NOTHING!!! it hurts me to know that he will never get married…never father children…never experience gray hairs…and the aches and pains of aging.
What hurts even more is to watch his love ones hurt! His mother! His brothers and sisters.
so, I have to watch my neice experience the same hurt I felt when I lost her father who was also brutally murdered in his very own home. I have to see the pain in her eyes and try to encourage her to seek God for understanding, because they say that God dosen’t make mistakes and everything happens for a reason!
What’s the reason that young men fall like leaves off a tree…dead to the ground.
And killers rome free among us and live free and full lives?

Last, summer it was my niece’s girlfriend…a young lady who I tired to mentor who ended up dead cause some lame ass girl encouraged her to go to a strip club wuth her…don’t get me wrong I’m not saying it’s the other young lady’s fault but she is definately, part to blame! How could someone slip something soooo strong into her drink and cause her to die?
I’m tired of seeing death! but, death is an inevitable part of life.
There is no life without death and no death without life….so, I cope and hope that I live the best life ever! and hope that I can bring joy to the people around me…even if for one moment in time!
